Alston Moor Methodist ChurchAlston Moor Methodist Church Contact: Reverend Colin Marchment
Sunday Services are held on most Sunday Mornings at 10.30 a.m. in St Wulstan’s Church which is in King’s Arms Lane, just over the road from Alston Town Hall. (This is a Roman Catholic Church with which we enjoy a sharing agreement). Once a month this is a service of Holy Communion. We enjoy fellowship after the service, talking together while we drink tea or coffee and eat biscuits! The majority of the members and worshippers live on Alston Moor and, as Christians, all play their part in the life of the local community. Underpinning everything is worship and prayer. A meeting for prayer is held weekly as is a weekly Fellowship Group for Bible Study.
A fortnightly Women’s Fellowship meets from September to May and our women also enjoy get-togethers with other Cumbrian believers under the umbrella of ‘Methodist Women in Britain’- Cumbria District.
On Tuesday nights a male voice choir rehearses: Alston Men’s Fellowship Choir.
We are a welcoming church and invite you to get in touch.
